She’s an actress, businesswoman and style icon. Sarah Jessica Parker, 54, lives in New York with her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, 57, and their three children: James, 17, and twin girls Marion and Tabitha, 10.
Your earliest childhood memory?
When I was little, I’d ask my mom for money in the middle of the night. I thought it was a good time to get 50c! I’m from a family of eight children, so our house was always buzzing, and the only way my mom could be heard was to shout! She’ll say she did everything wrong but, as a parent myself, I call her for any advice.
What do you do to relax?
Read, read, read. I’m part of a book club, so I usually have two books on the go. I used to knit, and it’s something I want to get back into. My son has hats I’ve knitted, but not my two girls. I need to get on that.
Did you have a career plan B?
