Motivation – It’s personal Nick Butter explains how he finds his get-up-and-go every day
When it’s raining, the roads are empty and it’s cold and dark; morning after morning I reach out of bed and snooze my alarm repeatedly until I am almost certainly late. Then and only then is it time to get up and rush around the house to attempt to get to work on time. That was my attitude before I discovered the wonders of running.
Skip forward a few years, and things have changed a little. On January 6 2018 I leave the UK on an 18 month expedition to set the world record for running a marathon in every country in the world. That’s 26.2 miles in every one of the 196 countries on the planet. I’m no one special but I am motivated.
