A Truly Unique Item
Total FlyFisher|November 2017

In the world of mass production it is reassuring to know that there is still a place for something a little different. That is exactly what the TFF team felt when it came across the Banana Rods range.

A Truly Unique Item
Banana Rods was originally started about 10 years ago by a keen angler. Unhappy with the offers available, he decided to create a brand focusing only on manufacturing the very best rods, combining state of-the-art technology and exceptional craftsmanship. An engineer by trade, he teamed up with highly passionate technicians and fellow engineers to create what is today a 10-people factory producing 100 per cent of the rods, from carbon fibres to their finish.

Developed and manufactured in France, many see the products as a work of art, with the makers saying it combines recognised traditional expertise with cutting-edge technologies and exclusive composite materials.
