'Loyola Institute Of Business Administration Many B-Schools Excel But LIBA Excels With Ethics'
Outlook|December 30, 2019
Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) is a premier B-school, established in 1979 within the premises of Loyola College, to form competent and committed leaders who are ethical, principle-centred and socially responsible with a global perspective and entrepreneurial spirit. LIBA is managed by Jesuits of the Loyola College Society well-known for their outstanding contribution to higher education.
'Loyola Institute Of Business Administration Many B-Schools Excel But LIBA Excels With Ethics'

LIBA stands for excellence with ethics which are the hallmarks of Jesuit business education and all its programs and activities embody these two elements. LIBA earnestly strives to inculcate in the students the values of excellence, justice, honesty and service to the society. Driven by Ignatian values of Magis (Excellence), Cura Personalis (Care of the individual), and Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam (For the Greater Glory of God).

LIBA’s foray into management education was with the Part-Time PGDM in 1979 much before the existence of AICTE and it was well recognized by the industry because of its quality. LIBA’s flagship programme is the two-year Fulltime PGDM. Also, it offers a Ph.D. (affiliated to the University of Madras). To meet changing corporate demands LIBA offers One-Year Executive Diploma programs alongside traditional PGDM programs. A student once formed in LIBA is able to make a difference in the lives of people, as one of the Ignatian values insists, we want our graduates to become men and women for others.

Our ways of Learning, Teaching, Evaluation creates an ecosystem of learning in which all the students and faculty learn to become creative, innovative, relevant and committed persons, who would go out to live a life based on the core values LIBA promotes. There is a holistic approach to learning by making all the Student Club activities part of the learning process, they are not extra-curricular activities but it is an integral part of learning.
