Jack Muldoon scored their first ever EFL goal after four minutes, before goals from Aaron Martin and Lloyd Kerry, as well as Muldoon’s second, saw them claim their maiden Football League victory convincingly.
And that left boss Weaver delighted with his side’s efforts.
“There were a few nerves early on, but once we got the first goal, we settled down and it was a true reflection of how the group can perform,” he said.
“No-one moans here and that’s refreshing in modern day football.
“They put in a real shift and hopefully this is a real confidence booster.
“We have some big games coming up and we want to build on this momentum and get as many points as we can as quickly as we can.
