TONY Mowbray hailed Sam Gallagher after the forward climbed off the bench to claim Blackburn a point at runaway league leaders Norwich.
Gallagher’s goal 13 minutes from time prevented the Canaries from making it 10 wins in a row after Kenny McLean had given the hosts the lead.
And Mowbray was full of praise for substitute Gallagher, who handed Rovers a deserved point.
“Sam has scored a couple of goals from substitute appearances, he has an amazing work-ethic and a clever football brain,” Mowbray said.
“He can intercept and read passes and has an engine that keeps running.
“But sometimes you don’t play a centre-forward against two strong centre-halves - you ask different questions and that’s what we did.
