JAMIE O’Hara says he is proud of what he achieved in his first management role after leaving Billericay Town this week.
The former Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Wolves midfielder took charge of the National League South side in September 2019 having joined as a player two years earlier and then worked as player-assistant at the club under Harry Wheeler.
O’Hara, a top pundit for Sky Sports and talkSPORT, threw himself into the deep end taking the top job at a time when Billericay were on an uncertain footing until they were saved by the takeover of businessmen Greg Lake, David McCartney, Alex Morrissey and Nick Hutt.
The club finished 17th on pointsper-game last season and have started this campaign slowly taking eight points from nine games.
