RISHI Sunak walloped Tory rebels by easily winning a vote on his post-Brexit Northern Ireland deal.
Just 22 Conservative MPs opposed the regulations to implement the Stormont Brake section of the Windsor Framework in a sign that the Conservative rebellion had begun to fizzle out.
MPs ended years of Brexit drama in the Commons by voting 515 to 29 in favour of Mr Sunak's deal.
Boris Johnson and Liz Truss both announced they would vote against the proposals which were agreed last month between Mr Sunak and the European Commission.
Others who voted against the deal include ex-Cabinet ministers Sir Iain Duncan Smith, Priti Patel and Jacob Rees-Mogg. Six Democratic Unionist Party MPs and independent MP Andrew Bridgen opposed the plan.
