A Brand expert says Emma Raducanu is “the brightness everyone needs” as the 18-year-old stands on the cusp of tennis superstardom.
Emma is taking on 28-year-old Aussie Ajla Tomljanovic in round four of Wimbledon today. Her prize money will rise to £300,000 if she wins but that could be dwarfed by her off-court earnings.
She earned £181,000 by beating Sorana Cirstea in the third round on Saturday.
Marcel Knobil, founder of Brand Council and Superbrands, told the Mirror: “Brands are absolutely desperate for positivity right now, after nearly two years of bleakness. They want to capitalise on incredible stories like Emma’s.
