Boris Wanted Aide To Help Carrie Get A Job

Boris Johnson talked to senior Downing Street aides about getting his wife two plum jobs, it's been claimed.

The PM is said to have raised possible new environmental roles for her on the COP26 summit in Glasgow or with the Royal Family in autumn 2020.

It follows claims Johnson tried to make her his £100,000a-year chief of staff two years earlier, when he was foreign secretary and she was his girlfriend before he divorced.

In fresh revelations, sources say the PM wanted to get Carrie a job as a green ambassador in the run-up to Cop26.
