THE Prince of Wales has recalled doing his first parachute jump and ending up in the sea “upside down with my legs in the rigging lines”.
Charles, 72, was 23 when he completed the drop from an Andover aircraft into Studland Bay, Dorset, on July 29, 1971.
The Prince was training as a jet pilot during a four-month attachment with the Royal Air Force at the time.
