RIYADH
Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as part of a national COVID-19 vaccination plan being implemented by the ministry of health, state news agency SPA reported on Friday.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, said: “I extend my thanks and gratitude to the Crown Prince for his keenness and continuous follow-up to provide vaccines to citizens and residents, and his permanent directives to provide them with the best services.”
Within the framework of Vision 2030, which is a policy of “prevention is better than cure,” which was represented by intensifying preventive measures, emphasizing that human health is first, and providing safe and internationally approved vaccine in record time and providing it to citizens and residents, making the Kingdom one of the best countries in the world in facing the corona pandemic.
On Thursday, Kuwait began coronavirus vaccinations, following several other Gulf states in rolling out a mass inoculation campaign.
