Sir Elton John was last night “deeply upset” at the Covid death of a children’s HIV doctor.
Elton, 73, met scientist Arthi Ramkissoon after she wrote to the star asking for help rebuilding a pioneering hospital in South Africa.
To her shock, Elton, 73, jetted to Durban to study the plans she had to help teenagers with AIDS.
