WORLD champion athlete Derval O’Rourke has told how she spent much of her career as a hurdler in pain or suffering from an injury.
The Ireland’s Fittest Family coach revealed she had to work harder than other athletes – because she was not as naturally gifted as others in her field.
The mum of two told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “A couple of things have happened to me since I retired as an athlete.
“I have the inability to physically hurt myself anymore.
