DURING the past few months, everyone has realised that it is always possible to stay connected with each other and exchange views on any number of topics live, even though we are unable to leave our homes during the lockdown
In an attempt to raise spirits during these troubling times, Manjul Publishing House held the 'Dastaan-e-Sheron Shayaari', a live series on their Instagram page (@manjulpublishinghouse), from April 26 to May 5. Some of the most eminent names in Urdu and Hindi poetry had recitals and exchanged views on this subject. The response was effective, as it could be said that poetry can always lighten the mood, and all poetry aficionados were able to hear some of the best-known poets discuss the subject live. Noted figures in this sphere such as theatre artist, Rasika Agashe, poetry recital artistes Afreen Akhtar, Kena Shree, Vrinda Vaid and many more spoke on this forum.
