For those who don’t have the option to work from home or must report to work a few times in the week, you can opt to ride the radically scaled-down public transportation system or get a brand new car.
If you’re leaning towards the latter, here’s what to expect at the dealerships. While stuff on the daily news may have setup your expectations already, I bet you’re still going to get weirded out at the start.
What to expect
Before going to any dealership, it would be highly advisable to call ahead and book an appointment. Yes, book an appointment to check out a car or to have it serviced. If you’re getting your vehicle serviced, definitely set an appointment. This will allow the dealership to sort their daily schedule to make sure that proper safety and health protocols are enforced.
Toyota has opened up a site for owners. Go to https://MyToyota. PH to pick a dealership, book an appointment, and even get service cost estimates.
Why? Because physical distancing will be strictly implemented and unlike before, 100 customers can’t be accommodated all at the same time.
