‘No shortage of pulses; strict action will be taken on hoarding’
Prices of oilseeds in the global market are stable unlike last year even though India has to import heavily to meet domestic demand, Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said here on Monday.
Similarly, there is no shortage of pulses in the country. But, if anyone resorts to hoarding, strict action will be taken, Paswan said after a review meeting of senior officials of different ministries, including agriculture, commerce, consumer affairs and food here.
