The latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will release in over 500 screens across T.N. on April 26
Till date, no Hollywood film has evoked as much interest in Tamil Nadu as Avengers: Endgame, which is the final movie in the ‘Infinity Saga’ of the so-called Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The much awaited final showdown between a bunch of superheroes and a supervillain — Thanos — will release on April 26 in more than 500 screens across Tamil Nadu and in three languages — English, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi — and in IMAX, 3D, and 2D. Many in the trade distribution circles surprisingly claim that the revenue generated by Avengers: Endgame could surpass even the revenues of some major Tamil movies released in the last 12 months.
Multiplex executives report that the demand for first-day first-show is already off the charts with fans and acquaintances enquiring when the tickets would be opened. Prebooking for the movie sold out in minutes, weeks in advance.
