Fresh from a matchwinning spell of 6 for 21 to help India clinch their eighth Asia Cup title by beating Sri Lanka in Sunday's final in Colombo, pacer Mohammad Siraj has regrabbed the number one position among bowlers in the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings.
According to a statement from the International Cricket Council (ICC), Siraj, who first grabbed the top position in January this year and was displaced by Josh Hazlewood in March, has surged eight spots after his memorable performance that helped dismiss the hosts for just 50 runs and enabled India to complete a 10-wicket victory.
