New Delhi: Over the past year, Delhi government has carried out work at 34 locations on 29 roads to reduce traffic problems. These efforts at decongesting the city roads were reviewed at a meeting helmed by lieutenant governor Anil Baijal on Friday.
According to government officials, the LG was apprised of the completion of all these interventions decided at the last review meeting on the matter held in February last year. On his part, Baijal was emphatic about the need for timely completion of all the remaining identified tasks to decongest the rest of the traffic corridors and that close coordination with other agencies was essential to the plan to free Delhi's roads of traffic gnarls.
