New Delhi: The inspiration for this came from the National Education Policy, which encourages schools to employ their underutilised infrastructure and resources in promoting activities during non-teaching after-school hours.
The Directorate of Education will invite applications from interested academies, individuals and NGOs, and guidelines for the process have been framed. “Before the deployment of trainers in different categories, the director has decided to let the head of schools choose the activities to be started in their schools based on the need/interest of the students in the school,” says a circular issued by the Directorate of Education.
