Hyderabad: The air-conditioned bus shelters that were launched four years ago to provide relief to passengers from scorching heat are defunct due to lack of maintenance.
None of the AC units in these bus shelters is working, forcing the commuters to wait outside instead of staying inside the closed ‘hot tinderboxes.’ While the AC units need urgent repairs, the GHMC blames private players for not maintaining them.
