What Can You Do to Make Yourself Feel Better When the Dreaded Morning Sickness Starts?

Morning Blues

Many of us get some form of morning sickness – up to 50% are affected and it can put a dampener on the joy of being pregnant.

Whether you have mild or moderate sickness – or even the severe form, Hyperemesis Gravidarum - there are steps you can take to reduce the impact of morning sickness and to help you to enjoy your pregnancy.

DIFFERENT KINDS OF MORNING SICKNESS

Some women feel mildly nauseous without being sick. Some vomit once or twice a day but feel OK most of the time. Some feel sick almost all of the day and others are severely ill, throwing up many times a day and they are not able to keep food or fluids down. This condition, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, is serious and needs to be treated, sometimes with a hospital stay and intravenous fluids.
