What is Pet Photography?
There are several advantages to working in the photography profession. A professional gets to meet new people, travel to new and exotic areas, sample new delicacies (food photography), and do a variety of other activities. The nicest thing about this job is that it isn't restricted to a single genre. A professional photographer may select from a variety of photographic genres, and Pet Photography is one of them.
Pet photography, as the name implies, involves photographing household animals. Unlike wildlife photography, which focusses catching animals in their natural habitat, pet photography focusses on photographing domestic animals in their homes, yards, or other outside locations. It's a common misconception that pet photography is simple, yet this couldn't be further from the reality. Pet photography is not an easy task as we think and takes the photographer out of his or her comfort zone. Animals' behaviour may be unpredictable, and they aren't used to getting clicked. This really puts photographers' patience to the test.
