For me, photography is a way to document the reality around me, tell a story, or evoke a feeling. My choices of subjects originate from my interest in an idea, beauty, or mood.
As a photographer, I am a witness in time. It can be a sizable landscape, nature, more often, urban or street photography. I managed to see the light battle in the darkness, textures, contrasts, shapes, and colors during the years.
Mostly my images are part of series (pictographic urban narratives; state of mind). In many cases, they describe certain conditions in the urban landscape, where I am quite clear and create stories, revealing a structure or reflections in water pools or glass walls.
Sometimes I am unraveling the scene with the help of natural light.
Outlining a State of Mind is achieved by contrasts, light or exposure, lines, shapes, and textures. The selection of black and white pictures helps to define this. Furthermore, they are not limited to a specific city but reflect and internal mood of serenity or storm.
