Ben hails from Peckham and originally pursued art, but an invitation to shoot behind-the-scenes images of a music video awakened a desire to become a full-time pro. Various photography jobs ensued, but it would be a growing following on Instagram (@bemorephotos) that really set the wheels in motion. Michael’s seven-decade passion for photography has spawned countless cameras. He bought his first Nikon when his beloved Leica III was stolen. As he puts it: “I noticed most professional photographers used the Nikon F and I worked on the simple principle, they knew better than anyone what was best.” An F2 followed, but when the quality of digital improved he purchased a D300. Several DSLRs later and he’s the proud owner of a D850 – and is eyeing up Ben’s Z 9…
Ben Moore is part of a growing contingent of social-media savvy professionals who have pushed the boundaries of urban photography. He’s cultivated a career snuffing out the most photogenic cityscapes in London and beyond.
