THE DREAM CONTINUES ....

The addictive modular system that is the FX Dreamline Compact Tactical I’ve named ‘Lola’ continues to keep me happily occupied. Like most shooters, I’m continually striving to find my ‘nirvana’ be it with scopes, mounts, pellets and silencers, but now we have the option of swapping out barrels/liners, stocks, pistol grips and Picatinny rails. This ensures we can get the gun just right for our individual needs. Length of pull can be adjusted, as can cheek height on the AR15-style stocks; the standard dovetail rail on the Dreamline can be upgraded to Picatinny rails; pistol grips with different angles, colour and feel are available, and the barrel liners can also be swapped out for different lengths and calibres.

I have had many – possibly too many – guns in the past, but none have provided the versatility of the DLC-Tac. It’s like having a bespoke suit made rather than an off-the-peg affair – both work, but the bespoke suit just fits perfectly and, as I said before, this is what we are all looking for. It goes without saying that the accuracy is top shelf, as expected from FX, which in my book is the single most important feature in any gun, and to be honest, I shouldn’t call it a feature because it should be standard in all guns.

ALL CHANGE!
