The current season got off to a flier for reserve midfielder, Scott Robertson as the youngster travelled with Neil Lennon and the first team to their continental pre-season training camp for their games in Switzerland and Austria.
Following a sterling 2018/19 season the 18-year-old appeared in the opening tour match against SC Pinkafeld, and, it got even better on his return to Glasgow as Robertson replaced Ewan Henderson in the 77th minute of Celtic’s home friendly against current UEFA Europa League Group E opponents, Stade Rennais.
Now, he is working hard on making more inroads into the first team, and the Celtic View caught up with him at Lennoxtown to find out how he is getting on.
HOW’S THE SEASON BEEN GOING SO FAR?
It’s been going well. I’ve been dropped back a position in games and I’ve been finding a lot more consistency in my performances. So, in that aspect, it’s been going really good.
