AS we look ahead to the 2019 Pedal for Scotland event on Saturday, September 8, we’re encouraging supporters to get on their bikes and raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.
Among those already signed up to take part on behalf of the Foundation is Celtic legend, Tom Boyd, as he gets set to take on the 45-mile Classic Challenge from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tom said: “I’m really looking forward to taking part in the cycle. It’s great to be part of Celtic FC Foundation’s team and hopefully plenty more supporters sign-up to join us.
“It’s a brilliant event to encourage more people to get into cycling and hopefully we can raise some funds for the Foundation too.”
Monies raised will support Celtic FC Foundation’s work in our four priority areas – Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty – and you can get behind Tom’s effort by visiting www.celticfc.net to donate.
