The All Stars series was a spectacle in terms of performance, action and celebration. The team led by Shane Warne outclassed Sachin’s Blasters in the three-match series. The champion spinner took his team to three triumphs in the same number of matches. Sachin and his men tried their best but couldn’t cross the line on even one occasion. The series was a blockbuster if we look in a broader way. From the first match of the series till the last one, the fans gathered at the stadiums to witness the high voltage action and those who couldn’t be part of the on-field action, were eluded to their TV screens. Here are the six reasons why the All Star series was a massive hit in a short span of time.
OLD RIVALRIES RELIVED
It was a pleasure to watch Sachin Tendulkar taking on Shane Warne once again. The legendary cricketers were famous for their action filled contest during the course of their international career and the recently concluded series once again turned those memories into reality. Shane Warne went on to dismiss his rival captain once which was enough to show that fire is still alive in their bellies. Apart from this, Saqlain Mushtaq, Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath and few others bowling to their old competitors was pleasing to eyes. All in all, this contest was a memorable one for everyone.
