Two of India's superstar batters, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, have been the pillars of the national team for several years. Besides showcasing their immense talent and character for Team India, the two have also achieved a lot of success in the Indian Premier League (IPL) over the years. Rohit has been a force to be reckoned with, especially as a captain, winning the prestigious trophy on five occasions with Mumbai Indians. He had also won a trophy with Deccan Chargers earlier as a player. As far as Kohli is concerned, the 2016 Orange Cap winner has achieved tremendous success as a batter purely. His consistency has been an example. However, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper didn't manage to win the trophy, leading them to a final in 2016. He stepped down as RCB skipper after IPL 2021. Notably, Kohli stepped down as captain of India's T20I and Test teams, besides being sacked as the ODI skipper. Rohit took over as an all-format skipper for India. The IPL 2022 season has already kicked off, and both these players have done a decent job.
