Virat Kohli: A Born Leader Who Never Stopped In Life

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi. The 30-year-old has two siblings. Also known as Cheeku, Kohli has grown on to become one of the best ever cricket sportspersons. He has defined hard work and dedication that has got him to be immensely successful on the cricket field. It hasn’t been an easy ride for Kohli and the skipper had his share of difficulties to reach where he has at the moment. Here we look at his timeline since his younger years, making it big and having it all at the moment.

CHILDHOOD

Kohli’s father was a criminal lawyer and his mother is still a housewife. He has two siblings: an elder brother, Vikash, and an elder sister, Bhavna. Kohli became interested in cricket when he was a child. Interestingly, at the age of just three, he would pick up a cricket bat and ask his father to bowl to him. Kohli’s interest in cricket saw his father enrolling him at the West Delhi Cricket Academy when he was aged nine. Kohli got his training under coach Rajkumar Sharma and he also played matches at the Sumit Dogra Academy.
