Everton in the Community Executive Director Phil Duffy recently represented the charity at the Premier League Primary Stars Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons, alongside Richard Scudamore, Frank Lampard and Rachel Riley.
Hosted by BBC Five Live’s Nicky Campbell, the prestigious reception showcased the Premier League Primary Stars programme and discussed its impact across the country to date.
The event opened with interviews with Premier League Executive Chairman Scudamore and former England midfielder and children’s author Lampard, before those in attendance had the opportunity to put their questions to the panel of key speakers that included Premier League Primary Stars ambassador Riley, MP for Swansea East Carolyn Harris and Phil Duffy.
