The pinnacle of the National Hunt season takes place this month at Prestbury Park, and once again we look certain to see some exciting racing and exceptional performances over the four days of the Cheltenham Festival.
Al Boum Photo, looking to become the first horse since Best Mate to land three Gold Cups, a fascinating clash in the Champion Hurdle between two mares, Epatante and Honeysuckle, to name just a couple of races which are being eagerly awaited by racing folk all across the country and beyond.
However, perhaps the race I am looking forward to most of all at this stage is the Arkle Trophy. Named in honour of one of, if not the best steeplechasers of all time, the Arkle Trophy has been won by some outstanding horses over the years, including the Nicky Henderson trained pair Altior and Sprinter Sacre in recent years, who both went on to win the Champion Chase.
