Covid-19 has had far reaching effects in every walk of life and racing has had to face its own dilemmas in dealing with the virus. It’s set to be with us for a long time yet and another casualty will be this year’s Christmas presents.
The book publishing industry has also been hard hit with a huge backlog. This logjam is now breaking but new books are coming out months later than intended, thus pushing back those which were planned for a pre-Christmas launch.
