SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE YEAR: TRESS WAY

Steven Sims had a huge kick return for a touchdown and injected life in an area the Redskins have been dead-on-arrival in for much of the last decade.

In general, the various units have been very good for first-year coordinator Nate Kaczor.

However, there's only one Warpath Special Teams Player of the Year award that we can give out and it goes to a guy who shows the Redskins the "Way" way too often. Indeed, it's his second straight year of winning Warpath’s award.

Tress Way was Special Teams Player of the Week a few weeks ago after the Redskins last big win of the year in Carolina. A 79-yard punt and a couple of boots downed inside the 20-yard line highlighted that game.
