History was once again made at the annual Nitro World Games, as athletes from multiple disciplines performed countless never-seen before tricks in hopes of going home with Nitro World Games Gold. The inaugural event kicked off last year in Salt Lake City, Utah, and stems from former Supercross, motocross, and FMX legend Travis Pastrana. Before the Nitro World Games, the worldwide Nitro Circus tour housed all of the best in action sports from skateboarding and scootering to BMX and freestyle motocross. While the tour is still alive and well, Pastrana and the Nitro Circus felt that a competition was the next logical step. In only its second year, the Nitro World Games has established itself as an outlet for athletes to showcase their talents, and this year it earned live coverage from NBC.
