During the Lumière brothers’ screening of one of the very first films in 1896 (Arrival Of A Train At La Ciotat Station), it’s said the audience was so convinced by what they were seeing, they believed the locomotive was actually going to crash through the screen into the cinema.

That story indicates just how powerful the moving image can be. And, more than 120 years later, Cambridge’s latest Blu-ray player, the CXUHD, the company’s first 4K machine, aims to bring even more realism to your screen.

All hi-res formats

The CXUHD supports all popular hi-res file formats up to a 7.1 channel, 192kHz resolution. And Dolby Vision support means this UHD player can optimise the picture on a frame-by-frame basis.
