A legendary inspiration for all women; this virtuoso has proved that the power of a woman can conquer all odds. In spite of being beguiled by the beautiful soiree, I could easily spot her as she outshined the crowd with her serene and poised charisma. I was magnetised with her composed demeanour which remains unperturbed by her soaring fame. Standing calmly with her fiancée, Satyawart Kadian, her eyes glistened with passion as she talked about her triumph in Rio 2016, “Participating in Olympics and winning on behalf of India was my biggest dream in life, mere words cannot describe the bliss of accomplishing my dreams. For an athlete, it is very difficult to describe the feeling you have after the triumph. It was an extremely wonderful experience.”
