Having marked her presence successfully in the Punjabi film industry, Ihana Dhillon is now gearing up for her big Bollywood breakthrough with her upcoming movie Hate Story 4. She speaks to about her journey so far, and more.

How did you get into acting?

It wasn’t always my plan to become an actor—I was studying in New York where I discovered this passion. When I moved back to Delhi, I pursued an acting course at the Barry John Acting Studio. Soon after that, I got my first break in the Punjabi movie Daddy Cool Munde Fool. As a kid, I used to admire and copy Madhuri Dixit, never thinking that I will be in the same profession one day. God has been kind to me and I’m thoroughly enjoying every bit of this.
