London On A Budget

1 Free City Views

A trip up the Shard, which is London’s tallest building, costs over £30 a ticket so why not take in the sights for free? I love the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street. Hidden away at the top of the Walkie Talkie building, it’s got landscaped gardens, observation decks with 360-degree views over the city and an open-air terrace. Free, but do book in advance.

2 Eat Out At A FoodMarket

Dine on street food from at the Malty Street Market and most stalls have free tasters too! It’s a short walk from London Bridge station, and the narrow street and railway arches house a vibrant and eclectic mix of bars and food stalls. Look for the Cheese Truck which does the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. And stop by at Bad Brownie for dessert!
