THE ACTOR REVEALS WHY HE WORKS AS HARD AS HE DOES

For My Family - The Method To Mark's Madness

The Mark Wahlberg you may know differs depending on what generation you are from. Is he the action hero movie star? Is he the cheeky rapper from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch? A Calvin Klein underwear model? Or the rough kid causing havoc on the streets of Boston?

Yes, Mark (47) is and has been all of those things. His is a true tale of troublesome rags to Hollywood riches, and he’s here to let everyone know that he hasn’t made that transformation by resting on his laurels.

“Do I work hard because I’m in this position? No, I got to this position because I work hard – 30 years putting in the work, working harder than everybody else, getting up earlier than everybody else,” he declares.

It’s difficult to argue with that. Mark left the world gobsmacked when he recently revealed his insane daily schedule, which sees him rise at 2.30am to begin his day, fitting in two workouts and a cryo-chamber therapy session, among other things, before going to bed at 7.30pm.

Somewhere in there, he squeezes in work meetings for the many movie projects and businesses he has on the go, and family time − with his wife, model Rhea Durham (40), and their four kids Ella (15), Michael (12), Brendan (10) and Grace (8).
