Lady Kitty's dream big day DIANA'S NIECE WEDS IN ROME

No expense was spared as the bride modelled gown after gown!

It was a wedding fit for a princess. Lady Kitty Spencer, the niece of Princess Diana, tied the knot in a 17th-century Italian castle and the bride wore not one but five Dolce & Gabbana gowns!

Lady Kitty, 30, the eldest daughter of Diana’s brother Earl Spencer and his first wife Victoria Aitken, exchanged vows with British fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 62, on July 24 in the Villa Aldobrandini, near Rome.

There was no sign of Kitty’s most famous cousins, Princes William, 39, and Harry, 36, at the high society wedding and the bride’s dad, 57, who is five years younger than the groom, was also reportedly absent due to a recent shoulder injury and Covid travel restrictions.

Instead, model Kitty, who is an ambassador for Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, was escorted down the aisle by her brother Louis Spencer (Viscount Althorp), 27, and half-brother Samuel Aitken, 18.

For the nuptials – attended by Kitty’s fellow socialite and model Emma Thynn (the Marchioness of Bath,) 35, pop singer Pixie Lott, 30, and actor Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina, 32 – the bride dazzled in an intricate floral lace gown, featuring a high neck, long sleeves, peaked shoulders and a train, finished off with a cathedral-length veil, which echoed her mum’s wedding dress in 1989.

The fashion house spent six months creating the show-stopping gown at the designers’ embroidery factory and studio in Milan.
