I t’s been a whirlwind three years since Vicky Pattison left Geordie Shore – in that time she’s won I’m A Celebrity, hosted the spin-off series Extra Camp and even joined the Loose Women panel. But the biggest thing of all is that she’s finally found love! Here, the reality star, 30, who just got engaged to John Noble, tells us more…
Hey Vicky! It’s so strange now to think of you as the Vicky from Geordie Shore!
To me that was years ago, but it was only six years ago we started! I must have only left three years ago!
That’s because you’ve been so busy…
Ah mate, yeah. The most amazing thing I think was winning the Jungle. Before I was just unknown or off of Geordie Shore, and they were images I was desperate to shake. I’d moved on, and who I was was completely different to the person who was on that show. I’d meet people and they’d walk away and think, ‘God she’s nothing like I thought she’d be.’ Then I got the opportunity to do that in one fell swoop to 13 million people!
The public fell in love with you.
I don’t know about that. But it was very nice. I don’t think I’ve ever truly got me head round it. I came straight out and did this whirlwind press tour and then went to Newcastle and the minute I walked through me door me mam went, ‘The dishwasher’s empty!’ I then worked non-stop last year, which is why it was quite important for me to have some time to reflect this year.
So you’ve taken a step back?
I had to. I couldn’t have another year like I had last year. I think everyone would be sick of the sight of us if I had another year like last year!
So what have you been up to?
