Your new album ‘You’re In My Heart’ gives your iconic hits the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra treatment. How does that feel?

I think you forget how enormous a live orchestra sounds without being amplified. It’s wonderful.

Was it your idea?

No, but I’m very proud of it. I’ve made about four albums in the last seven years and they all got to number one, bar one, so there really wasn’t time for it, but sometimes there’s room for a Christmas album and sometimes an album like this.
