Michelle Keegan Puts Those Rumours to Bed Once and for All.
Michelle Keegan is back on our TV screens in January, and this time she’s taken on the role of footballer Bobby Moore’s first wife, Tina. after kick starting her career as another Tina (McIntyre) in Corrie back in 2008, Michelle, 29, has gone from strength to strength, recently playing George Lane in Our Girl. i caught up with the gorgeous Mancunian, who married former TOWIE star mark Wright, 29, in 2015, to chat family plans, marriage rumours and her incredible career…
Hi Michelle! Were you aware of Bobby and Tina Moore before you started filming?
I watched the documentary Bobby coincidentally just a few weeks before the scripts arrived so I knew the background of his career and their relationship, plus Mark is a big West Ham fan so he gave me the ins and outs of what happened in the World Cup and why Bobby was such an icon.
Mark must be giddy you’re in it if he’s a West Ham supporter?
He is a massive ‘Hammer’ – and all his family are as well.We live 10 minutes away from where Bobby and Tina lived. I drive past their old house nearly every day. When I first met Tina that’s what we spoke about – we know the same places, all the same restaurants.
What was it like meeting her?
It was very surreal because I saw her on TV doing interviews and I did a lot of research into what she had done over the years. When we met, she was very welcoming and warm.
It’s a big responsibility playing a real person…

Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly.
