After a tough year – professionally and personally – the TV presenter’s priorities have changed
Ruth's FAMILY GUILT

For Ruth Langsford, like a lot of us, the last year has been an eye-opener. Ruth, 61, was separated from her mum Joan, who’s in a care home, for months as the pandemic raged. Ruth recently confessed things are only just getting back to normal, with her mum finally allowed to visit her and husband Eamonn Holmes at their home. Added to this was a shake-up in Ruth’s work life, when she and Eamonn, 61, were dropped from their Friday slot on This Morning in favour of Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary. With so much happening, in such a short space of time, Woman’s Own understands that Ruth is now putting even more importance on family.
