Glastonbury drove a wedge between Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams in 1995 when Robbie ditched tour rehearsals to go with the Oasis boys. How rock and roll! Robbie later left the band, saying they ‘had all the creativity of morons’. Happily, they’re reconciled now.
WHEN THE FIZZ FELL FLAT
Bucks Fizz won Eurovision for the UK in 1981 with Making Your Mind Up, gaining global fame. Bobby G is the only original member after a legal dispute split the band. Now Bobby, Paul Yates, Heidi Manton and Tammy Choat are Bucks Fizz, while Cheryl Baker, Jay Aston and Mike Nolan perform as The Fizz.
