Speaking about the pandemic before heading to Wales, the 56-year-old actor confessed, ‘I’m literally skint. You save money for a rainy day, but you don’t expect the rainy day to last six months.’
He added, ‘Thankfully, I’ve been able to borrow money from mates, my family, and the bank. My wife is now very happy we can finally pay off the credit card.’

She’s one half of the comedy duo French and Saunders and has starred in some of the country's biggest TV shows, but lately, comedian, actor, and writer Dawn French has been worried about paying the bills.
‘I would honestly say paying the mortgage has kept me awake,’ said
Dawn, 63. ‘COVID nicked my work.’
