As Britain’s Got Talent returns, Alesha Dixon says she thinks this year’s contestants are the best yet! Along with fellow judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams, Alesha, 38, can’t wait for us to see the new acts. Here she chats to us about BGT, pranks behind the scenes and spending time with her daughter Azura…
Hey, Alesha! So how have the auditions been this year?
They have actually gone really quickly! It’s been so much fun and there will be something for everyone – the barking mad moments and the tearful, emotional moments.
Do you think it gets harder to find different acts?
Yes, there is more pressure because each year you want to find something extraordinary. Expectations are higher. For instance, the first time I saw Diversity I was totally in awe, but now it is about finding someone even better! But I think we have a great mixture and it’s going to be really good.
What are the Golden Buzzer acts like this year?
They are very strong. I can never predict who is going to win, but I think it could potentially be one of the buzzer acts. Simon’s is amazing and David has gone for a genuine contender this year!
Is it nice to be back with the gang?

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
